About
Currently serving as a Commissioner and Vice-Chair of the Metropolitan Nashville Fair Board, I have had a long career in public service. Having served as an outreach adviser to Presidential, Congressional, State, and Local campaigns since 2000 and as a senior aide to Members of Congress, I have also served in senior leadership positions at national non-profit organizations leading efforts to build coalitions between diverse civil rights and social justice organizations to address issues impacting their members.
My experience makes me uniquely qualified to represent the 19th district on the Metropolitan Nashville Council. Since my time in Nashville, I have built coalitions across communities to foster a better understanding of the crucial roles and decisions within our government and understand how important it is to work together to encourage affordability, accessibility, and public safety in communities throughout Nashville.
A small business owner in Downtown Nashville, I am also a radio, podcast, and tv political commentator as well as serve on various boards and committees, including the Fundraising Committee for the Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center (MWCHC) and the Board of Directors of the Policy Center for Maternal Mental Health (formerly 2020 Mom), a national maternal mental health nonprofit organization aggressively closing gaps in maternal mental health care.
The people of Nashville's 19th District need and deserve someone to stand up and fight for much-needed resources, but also someone willing and capable of bringing people to the table to work toward solutions. I am that person and ask for your support in this upcoming election.
